I do not even live in escalon, but I was going through & that was where my grandson wanted to eat. We ordered 2 meals totalling $27.56. I was the driver, we take our 20 minute drive to get to my house & we are missing our burger & fries on one of the meals. I called & called [protected], the # on the receipt, I left messages with my name & number that night, I was not going back, gas is expensive! And it was already 7:55pm. No calls that night. I called in the morning & left message, 2. No return call that morning. Finally in the afternoon, a woman named monica, who said she was the manager answered the phone, I told her what had happened, then she put a man named josh on the line and he said he was the store manager. I explained what happened and he had no response what soever. I explained that going out to eat is very pricey and some refund or voucher is all I ask. He refused to even address the issue, so I then asked who owned this store, he refused to give owner's name, I asked over & over & he kept saying he had no idea what name is, I challenged him and he gave up the name "john". This is really sad that I am writing this complain when all I askd was for a refund or some kind of voucher. I was not trying to be unreasonable. I am hoping that burger king will not let me down in addressing this issue. A lot of people I know bad mouth your company, I don't but with that experience I can see why. I do have a receipt of what I ordered.

Burger King - The escalon california burger king
The Burger King in Escalon, California is on Highway 120... Very busy highway and also is only 1 of 3 fast food restaurants. I don't know if it isn't managed the way it should be or what the problem is... The last 6 months, the quality of food has gone down to inedible. The whoppers I have personally purchased are cold, made horribly, and at time the meat isn't even done. We have gone in and they have had no ice cream, no frozen cokes and many times, nothing but burgers. Many times the staff is so rude and obnoxious that I wanted to scream at them... I bought something that needed marinara sauce and after I paid for the item... They said we don't have any... Really? Have it your way? I have been told the "manager" and I use that term very loosely, won't or doesn't order things that are regularly used and so runs out of everything. Now the burgers... How do you mess up a burger? This is not due to COVID... This is laziness or totally unmanaged.
We were so excited to get Burger King in our small town, and now it has turned into a mess... I have lived here in escalon for over 40 years, so this isn't someone just complaining to complain. This could be a great restaurant if someone with gumption and willingness to make it great... Please do something about this... Thank you so much
