Today, May 9 around 7:40pm, we placed an order from The Cheesecake Factory in 15301 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks 91403 through Door Dash. We ordered 4 items and 1 cheesecake.
When we received the order 1 item was missing, the cheesecake. Immediately I told the driver that delivered the order. He looked in his car and told me that he didn't get it from the restaurant.
On top of that, the sides for two of the orders were wrong. All was messed up.
When I called the restaurant to let them know about the missing item, they told me it wasn't their problem and that I could use my hands to remove the wrong sides from the other two dishes. The person hang up the phone and was extremely rude, yelling and disrespectful. Told me to call Door Dash.
We called again and asked to speak with the manager. He was very unprofessional and rude, and didn't accept any responsibility for the wrong orders or the missing item.
I feel that they think they can do whatever they want to a customer with no repercussion, and charge for something they didn't give. And what it is more disgusting, is that they tried to blame the poor driver of keeping the cheesecake.
I hope that some kind of apology will be issue to me and my husband.
The names of the 2 people that spoke with us from the restaurant on the phone are Michael and Patrick. They identified themselves as managers.
