I went to Living Spaces in Menifee, CA on November 13, 2021. I spoke with a sales clerk about ordering the Percy 5 piece counter set for a friend of mine who is a senior citizen who lived in Phoenix Arizona. I asked the sales clerk if she could check to see if they had inventory of it on hand that I wanted something that was not a back order. The clerk checked and said they had it on hand and they would call my friend to make arrangements to deliver it sometimes the following week. I paid with my master card. I never heard anything more from the store but heard from my friend that she never received the 5 piece counter set or received a phone call. I went to the store today and learned that the set was on back order and I could receive a free setup when it comes in. First of all I paid my money for a item that you did not have in stock so why did you take money for it! Money should never come out of a customer's banking account unless the product is available. I don't agree any customer should pay and wait for a product that is not in stock. After becoming frustrated with the pittiness and undue concern I became agitated. I made a call to the corporate store and was placed on hold. It seem everyone was so busy no one available. I was told it would take 24 hour or up to 72 hours before anyone could review my complaint and get back to me. Well I hope that you all enjoyed your day cause I see no one cared about my friend who is a senior citizen if she had a table to eat or sit at. After requesting my money back I was told it could take up to 7days. Are you kidding me. No one could give me cash from the store so I could go else where to make a purchase. Things like this shows me how professional you are with lying to your customer about items you don'nt have in stock. I never will attempt to buy from your store ever again and want to make it clear to the public if it is on backorder to not give up their money cause no telling when it will be in and if it comes in they may not receive a call! Stay away from Living Spaces a free setup is not the best solution for a problem that is unabe to be corrected!
Desired outcome: An apology and item sent to the senior citzen along with setup after making things unbearable for this Lady to sit at a table and have a dinner after not being able
Living Spaces Furniture - Product and customer service
Purchased a couple recliners 8/15. They broke within 3 weeks. Contacted Living Spaces, they sent out repair technician who attempted to repair them. Didn't work. Called again, sent out another technician who said there was nothing more they can do, advised us to call a manager. It's 1/29/16 and I still haven't gotten this problem resolved. No one calls back, broken promises to resolve the problem. Their very fine print which you can't read until you get home and have a magnifying glass speaks volumes of their practices and the type of company they are. They are not in this business to sell quality furniture or to provide customer service. Customer service up to the purchase was pretty good. Customer service after the purchase has been non existent. I would not recommend shopping at any Living Spaces location. I wouldn't even buy a bottle of water from them. Horrible company to do business with. Horrible quality of products too. Stay away from this place, I'm telling you.
My parents shopping experience was good too. The sales people do a decent job making you feel comfortable. Its not until you get your purchase home that your experience goes to hell. Buyer beware! read all reviews! there are well over 200 complaints with the bbb as well. With these many complaints, clearly living spaces run a shady business. There is no way all these complaints arent legit or exxagerated..Shop elsewhere! living spaces is the worst place to shop!
While our shopping experience was pretty good, our items, which were special ordered (fabric) was delivered today. It was the 1) incorrect fabric 2) incorrect throw pillows 3) incorrect end table.
This is inexcusable.
I cannot recommend this company based upon this. We will now have to wait another 6 weeks for our furniture.
