I was deferred back in May pending a 2 part protein test. After my second test I called a few times over the following weeks. No one answered...ever. finally about a month after the second test I got a return call saying that I was clear to donate but that it was time for my physical again. I have been trying ever since. I go on the site at least once a week and try to schedule out as far as it will let me. Every day ALWAYS says "no appts available". It has been months. I have called sooo many times and never have I gotten an answer or call back. I still get emails all the time from them asking me to come donate and to schedule an appointment. I am very frustrated.
Claimed loss: Time, money, i.e. missed opportunity to donate
Desired outcome: Schedule an appointment for a physical and donation.

BioLife Plasma Services - Not being able to donate per nurse
Iv was told getting covid injection would not hinder me donating. When I went in today, I of course got screened by the nurse bc I answered yes 9n questionnaire about vaccination. She ask 8f I had a fever, st, ect. I said no just a sore arm at injection site. Which is a common reaction. I said it felt like a tetanus shot. She said I couldn't donate by my arm was sore. That is BS. It's typical to get soreness around injection site with any immunization. U might as well not let anyone give blood, bc everyone is stating they have pain in their arm at injection site. I guess being truthful isn't always the right thing to be. I could have said no I felt fine and donated w/o an issue. Especially bc I use my right arm and the sky was in my left. Seems like you guys advertise so much you need donations but you turn people away all the time.
I am an RN x 10 yrs now. I work in an infusion area. I know when and what to look for in a pt. I guess you don't really need plasma as bad as you say u do.
This was my second donation, so my better reimbursement day.
Very disappointed

Desired outcome: Would like my 70 dol donation fee

BioLife Plasma Services - protein test wait time and horrible customer service
Donated last/gave sample April 30th
Tried to donate May 4th, but sample had returned with low protien so I was deferred
Gave new sample May 7th (the soonest they said I could)
Was told to allow 7-10 days
Called today and my levels were normal but I couldnt donate until May 21st at the earliest because a doctor has to sign off on it
14 days after 2nd sample I can donate
3 days after 1st sample I could not donate
I was upset. I asked what hours the doctor would be working on the 21st and she said she doesnt know. She then said she was too busy for this and had another call and hung up on me without even saying goodbye
