No I do not recommend boost this particular store is privately owned not corporate owned. They will not honor any refunds or deals boost mobile has. Go to the corporate store! I went to this privately owned boost mobile on wednesday oct. 12, 2022 (big mistake!) and paid to port over and switch cell phone service from my current cell phone provider to boost. (1st time going to the store)
1.) I end up being in the store about 2.5 – 3 hours from about 4:30 pm until closing time at 7pm because the worker couldn’t get my phone to work after she said it was a compatible phone.
2.) what made my wait even longer in the store was when the worker called boost customer service for help, after about an hour talking to them, they disconnected her, and she had to call them back initiating another hour long wait.
3.) after about 2.5 hours of being in the store, I just asked her if they could sell me one of the phones in their store and surprise! She said they were all out of phones.
4.) she had been trying and trying to call the manager/owner and surprise again! The manager ignores all her calls and never answered, so the worker told me to come back the next day and they would give me a refund.
5.) (2nd time going into their store): the following day, (oct 13th, 2022) I came in and their store had gotten broken into so she couldn’t help me with a refund because their stuff got stolen. I came back later at about 12pm (3rd time going into their store) and the worker was afraid to call the manager because her quotes they are still sleeping wow?! At 12 pm?! Must be nice to be a manager/owner and sleep in late after a rough night of partying all night the previous night?!
6.) now friday, oct 14th, 2022 now 3 days for me with no cell phone service and i’m also loosing money from my job because I use my phone for my work. I called later that day and the worker didn’t want to answer. (4th time going back to the store) so I went in the store and the worker said she couldn’t answer when I called because she was busy, which could be possible, but again, she said come back later. I called later, she picked up the phone and surprise! The phone magically got disconnected! I think she was purposely ignoring me! I called back and the worker yet again says come back later.
7.) I called the 800 number for boost customer service several times and each time boost customer service said, even though my phone showed that it was compatible with their system, it wasn’t, and they couldn’t connect it and they told me to go back to the boost store and that they should refund my money because no one could get my phone to work and would refund me because they have the capability to at the discretion of the manager/owner.
8.) I came back after work (5th time going back to the store) the worker finally says she couldn’t get a hold of managers because of some family emergency and the other manager was unwilling to give me any refund for no service or discount on any phones, and here I see a google add for $19.99 for a new samsung a23 and yet no one at this boost store is willing to help me or even offered me this deal, but they could sure burn me out of my money and steal my money, make me wait for 3 days with no service and no phone, and they are mad because someone broke into their store and had a family emergency?! That’s not my fault or my problems and that doesn’t give them the right to be thieves and keep my money and never even work with me! Must be nice to be the owner/manager and be able to sleep in late until 12pm and never actually have to show up to work! Very poor management! It was a horrible, horrible experience here! My recommendation is: do not go to privately owned cell phone stores like this, if you want any service at all be sure you go to the corporate stores where they have to honor the sales, ads and refund policies of the parent company!
