On 10/23/2019 my husband, Anthony Santini went to Midas due to his vehicle making a noise and having difficulty to steer when turning. When contacted by the associates at Midas after diagnosing the vehicle, they gave us an estimate of $3600.00 of maintenance that was needed for the car. They mention the issue was the struts, tie rods, and control arm. They said that the car was in great condition otherwise. We couldn't afford the $3600.00 so they advised us to do tie rods and and control arm which were more important. We paid $1600 for what we thought was a quick and efficient service. As we drive home with the car we realized that it was still making a noise and even more difficult to drive than it was prior to when we left the vehicle. My husband contacted them to let them know and brought the car back on 10/24/2019. Where they then diagnosed that it's actually the transmission that's the issue. Now this is where we feel we were taken advantage of. Why wouldn't they have said that from the beginning. We rely on their expertise when it comes to our vehicle and now they charged us for so called necessities that was needed to give us our car back in a worse state than what it came in. Then when we become frustrated and want some type of reimbursement for their error, we are told that there is nothing they can do for us. We were robbed!
