On Saturday May 20 I made a cash deposit in the drive through ATM at the Wells Fargo location on Gulf to Bay Blvd Clearwater Florida (Clearwater Mall location) I accidentally left my debit card in the machine and a Wells Fargo representative called me on WEDNESDAY to let me know to come pick it up. I work full time and they are only open until 5 PM Monday - Friday and Sat 9-12. I left work early today May 26 to go pick it up. There are 6 people working in the bank. I went to the teller with my ID, and my phone to pull up my banking information to verify who I was. The teller tells me that she can't help me I have to wait for someone from the security team? I explained that they called me to come pick it up. She then proceeds to go speak to the teller on the end at which point they begin whispering like I'm about to do something nefarious. She told me I would have to go wait in the lobby. I asked how long it would be because I had my dog in the car because I was taking him to boarding as I am leaving town for the weekend. She says I don't know. Meanwhile 3 other employees walk by DOING NOTHING and they make no effort to assist. I finally had to leave. I called corporate to file a complaint and they lady who helped he said there was no reason they couldn't have given me my card if I had proof of who I was and could provide banking info. NOW we are going into the holiday weekend and I have no debit card. This is unacceptable. Wells Fargo clearly does not care about their customers or retaining business. I have transferred my brokerage money and will close that account, will close my banking and will refinance my home just so that I can take my mortgage out of Wells Fargo's hands.
Desired outcome: Nothing left to do.
