On July 13, 2009 I took my 2008 XB Scion in for routine service. When I picked up my car I didn't see the damage hood, it was on the passenger side. I house this car in the garage so it Had been washed by Toyota I didn't have to wash it for a couple of weeks. So a few weeks went by before I saw the damage hood. I took the car to the dealer about tow days later pushing the time from service to me taking it to them about a month. I went in twice to get it looked at. I finally had the service Manager look at it only to find out that he blame it on my use of the car, and his people are not responsible for the damage. As you can clearly see that something was left on the fender inner groove and the hood was closed down on it. As the picture will so and the date on the pic as well. The insult was even more harden when he wanted to call a service contractor to fix it for me at my cost. He told me that if it was his car he would have had it fix asap not waited this long, I told him that it's only a car and not the end of the world, I have a busy life style' I have a company to run and I can only fix it when I have the time to come to your shop. This really upset me that he would think that was a good way t keep a customer. So now it 3 month since I noticed the damage and Now I have time to Address this Issue. Suppervisor were David and a Mr. Hayes

The mgr was right. You waited too long to complain about it. Always do a walk through with your vehicle before leaving the dealers lot. You can probably call Toyota of America and see they are willing to fix it.
