I never thought I would be doing this about this company but I have to.

I parked my vehicle in a handicapped spot close to the front entrance. It was a hot day and even though it was a short distance, the heat affected me. I was hoping to find an electric cart but none were at the entrance. And the carts were a distance from me.

I was short of breath and was slightly shaking.

I saw 2 Costco individuals who were having a conversation. I stood close to them and after a minute or so I had to interrupt their conversation. As I am leaning on the wall as to not take a chance of falling, I asked one of them to please get me a cart or an electric scooter. The individual proceeds to direct me to go inside and sit inside. Mind you, I could hardly stand up without the leaning on the wall. As I am trying to talk to her,. I told her I did not want to walk am having trouble not only breathing but maintain my balance. The wall helped. At that moment she tells me "That's not the way to ask."... I told her please do not correct me in how to ask. Then She turns around, walks away, giving some hand flipping motion and proceeds to tell me "I am not dealing with you."... She walks away and gets into a vehicle. The vehicle remained parked for awhile. By this time I am still sitting on a edged by the wall so I could keep from falling. Because of where I was located (entrance to the store) I managed to get another employee's attention so I could get some assistance.

It took another employee to assist me to get someone to bring me a scooter.

The situation was handled but it had to take 2 additional employees to assist me.

Of all the years I have frequented (25 years plus) I have never encountered such disregard from an employee of this company thee likes of what I did yesterday. Her Name was Victoria and this occurred at Davie, FL store on University Dr.

Perhaps I should refer this incident and file a complaint thru ADA
