This particular store is an affront to the core values of what any retail shopping experience should be. The employees there are extremely rude and unprofessional and filled with a social mindset and work environment that aggrandizes an extremely "ghetto" type culture in the work environment. as I have frequented there largely due to the store's proximity to me, it is often and more times than not to hear the management and workers cajoling about the latest customer they either had a physical or verbal altercation with among each other and this banter appears the standard fare of the loud, raucous conversations that they workers seem to lividly engage in, in clear earshot of any would-be customers. This location needs closer supervision from corporate as it appears to be a costly lawsuit unfolding based upon my observations and sometimes unpleasant remarks, affronts and nasty, sullen remarks made by workers there. They seem to be clueless and confederate when it comes to any show of a common modicum of self-respect and respect for the general public. Is this the model of how Family Dollar operates its' stores? If so, we the general public need find a more civil, sensible and deserving place to spend our hard-earned dollars. As it stands now, Family Dollar is not that place.
