Arrived in the Village Inn to have lunch with my kids. Ordered as soon as the server came since my kids were hungry, 1 salad and 3 kids meals. The restaurant was fairly empty, probably 4 tables seated total at the time of arrival. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and not once did the server come to check on us. I finally saw the hostess come by and politely asked if she could have our server check on our food, to which she walked off and went right to the server, not saying a word. We still must have waited another 20 minutes after the inquiry, with still no information on why it was delayed. Finally our food comes out and it was the wrong order. As frustrated and hungry as we were, we just asked for missing fries, but what upset me the most was no apology or explanation on why our food was late and wrong! Before we are half-way through our meal, our server drops the check. I tell her we would like to order pies so she picks up the check, says "oh, do you know what you want?" and crumbles the check. Not even half-way through our meal without asking us if we need any drink refills or sauces, etc. she gives us the check and doesn't wait for us to complete our meal before asking if we need anything else before bringing the check. I am the type of person that tips minimum 20% for mediocre service, and I couldn't bring myself to tip a penny after the service I received today.
Village Inn Restaurants - Staffing- Amy the waitress-Filthy
I witnessed Amy, not once but twice..Took it upon herself to step up inside the booth with her filthy shoes on to close the shades while patrons were eating. *****Not once did she clean the seats before she seated the customers.*****
The problem that I am Help having is that Amy asked an elderly gentleman to get up while they(his wife) were eating to close the blinds to satisfy another lady.
However a respectable waiter by the name of David told you requested customer that wanted the couples to finished eating, then he would be more than glad to close the blinds.
But Amy took the matter out of in David's hand to the close the blinds.
So I spoke w/ the store manager Robert Valimont and he was not of any assistance you can tell that he can care less and not once did he apologize to the elderly couple.
Spoke with corporate. This guy is taunting & using my information to say sickening things..
Village Inn Restaurants - thanksgiving dinner
Our family went to village inn #700153 for thanksgiving dinner. It was horrible. 2 small pieces of turkey a few mashed potatoes and a little dab of dressing and a roll(the roll took up most of the plate). No vegetable? Then a piece of pumpkin pie at end Pie was the only good thing about the meal! And all this for 13.99! Rip off for sure. We enjoy village inn for breakfast but your dinners suck! Never again!
