I worked for this company 13+ years. I ended up quitting due to a dispute with the manager. that week I had worked 26 hours, and had 58$ in commission. my check I received was for only 69.11. I was apparently fined for not returning my key 162$ (even though I returned every key I had) and a 100$ fine for not doing "closing duties." after I had quit. my pay rate was 12$ an hour plus commission, so my check should have been approximately 370$ pretax, and I received 69.11$. I tired to talk to the manager at the location unsuccessfully, saying I was being fined for unreturned store key (which in the manual says its a 25$ fee for not returning a key) and she charged me 162$ for this, and a 100$ fine for not "closing properly" and fined for missing products, even tho it was not MY responsibility to count the inventory. so that breaks down to approximately 2.65$ per hour I worked, which is not even close to minimum wage. I want the money that is owed to me to be paid. I was also previously last month fined for missing products (that I already own) along with the rest of the staff. I worked closing shifts, and on that day (and several others) the manager who was responsible to count inventory in the morning shifts did not do so.
