The Salvation Army USA

I want to make a complaint on the Salvationary Army located in East Point Georgia in Fulton County. I'am a single parent raising a seventeen year old by myself getting ready to graduate next year and going to College. I'am struggling trying to pay my rent every month. I do work a part-time working 10-20 per week sometimes. It's really hard and frusted and stressful trying to pay bills by yourself and trying to save money for your daughter to go to a good college and be something in life. I need some Rent Assistance for a month to get me our the whole. My rent is $500.00 a month. I called united way to get the number for the Salvationary Army. Mondays is the only time you can call the Salvationary Army for appointments at exactly 9:00 a.m. God is good i been off every Mondays to be able to called for a month. I haven't got through to them yet. I wake up every monday morning at 8:30 see my daughter off to school and i start calling the two numbers above at exactly 9:00 a.m. This is the problem right here i will get through several of times but you won't speak to a live person, always they answer machine will come on when i get through over and over again. Then i get so frusted i stop calling, because i'am pissed off now. So about three hours later i called back they machine will say we have all our applications fill up the week of the October 3, 10, 17, 24 please try back again on the 31th. So thats telling me you been answering your phones. I call them every Monday faithfully because i need help with my rent, so me and my seventeen year old daughter don't get put out. It's rough for everybody including me but i want to know how your system works when you tell the people to call on Mondays at 9:00 and i get through, it's not busy but i hear your voice mail. I'am so pissed off i even call Salvationary Army Headquarters at [protected]) and spoke to the operator named Chris and told her wants going on and she said she told somebody in the correct department who takes care of that. She said somebody will calll you haven't gotten a phone call yet that been three weeks next Monday. I have borrow money from every family member and friend i can think of. The Salvationary Army is suppose to help people in need this is a one time thing for me. Never needed no Rent Assistance until now things happen. So I'am complainting and hope this be resolve so me and my daughter can get the help we need. The good thing i'am bless because i was approved for a Section Voucher i'am on the waiting list hopefully i will get a letter or phone call soon. So i don't have to worry about my rent.
