Absolutely upset with the way safelite handled my

Scheduled 2 weeks in-advance using the online system. Entered vehicle Vin and got a scheduled appointment. Never received a call prior to appointment. Dropped vehicle off and then was notified wrong windshield ordered. Told it was my fault that I didn’t come to the shop to verify correct part ordered. Did nothing to fix the problem. Was told to reschedule and bring back vehicle. Didn’t care that we took the day off to have this done and wasted gas driving it to safelite when they ordered the wrong part. I was also told this happens all the time when using the online system. Will never use safelite again and will go out of my way making sure everyone I know never uses safelite. Insurance companies are being taking advantage of. The manager of Conyers ATL said it wasn’t his problem. Online was the only option to contact safelite.
Desired outcome: Wanted a new windshield ordered and a new date. Maybe try to make the owner of the vehicle happy and try to work my schedule since it was safelite’s fault.
Safelite AutoGlass - Scheduling service for windshield installation
I walked into Safelite (1521 Dogwood Dr sw Conyers, Ga) to schedule an appointment for installation on 6/24/2022. My appointment was scheduled for 7/7/2022 at 3:00pm. I arrived at 3:00 sharp. When I signed in the service rep informed me that unfortunately the time slot had been overbooked, and since they closed at 5:00pm some of us might not get our installation done that day. After I told her that I understand, because mistakes happen sometimes, she informed me that it was no mistake and that they overbook on purpose in case someone doesn’t show up for their appointment.
To me that is bad business.
Desired outcome: I want guaranteed service when I show up to my agreed upon scheduled time slot, I shouldn’t be denied prompt service because other people failed to show up in the past.
Safelite AutoGlass - customer service and scheduling
I called the Safelite location in Conyers, Georgia on August 14, 2019 at 8:20 am to schedule an appointment to get my drivers door window replaced on a 2008 Nissan Titan after someone had broken it out. They gave me an appointment window for that day between 1 pm and 6 pm. I received the confirmation email for the appointment and an email letting me know who the technician would be. I received a call from the technician at 1:15 pm letting me know that their are 4 cars ahead of me, but he would get to me today. After that phone call, I didn't hear from the technician again until 8 pm that evening. Needless to say, I was upset and disgusted. I needed my window replaced that day because I was flying out the next morning. If the technician was not going to be able to do the job, I would have appreciated a phone call a lot sooner in order to find someone else that could have installed the window. I feel this was piss poor customer service and I hope this type of behavior is not a representation of Safelite Corporation business practices. I'm very dissatisfied with your customer service that I didn't receive.
