Contacted ALM Kia regarding a loud rattle noise in my steering column every time I hit a bump in the road. I dropped car off the night before, the very next day I receive a call from the service center telling me there is nothing they can do for my car because they believe the issue is a recall problem and that Kia has a nationwide outage in there system and they do not know when they can repair my car; therefore, I need to come get my car. I asked how long did they know about this outage? They stated for quite some time. Why wasn't I told that before I even brought my car in! I picked up my car and started contacting all the local dealership and they stated that none of them could repair my vehicle any time in the near future because of the Kia nationwide outage of their system. One dealership told me that they were told by corporate that it could be next year before their system could be up again! Why is it taking so long for Kia to get their system up and running? This is not acceptable.
Desired outcome: I want my the recall on my vehicle fixed, it is not safe to drive!
