On 08/03/20 I went to the Burger King located at 7E May St Winder Ga 30680, on my way to work. At approx. 8:20pm. Ordered a Whopper meal pulled around to the drive through pickup window, paid and was handed my drink. So then I'm sitting there watching the person put the topping on the burger wrap it and hand it off to the person who handed me my bag through the window. I drive away start eating my fries riding down the street. I was about 3 miles away, reached in the bag for my sandwich pull it out and immediately a scent of burnt toast. I open it the entire bottom bun was completely burnt. I couldn't believe it. I turn around and go back. I go inside ask for the person in charge, the employee calls Madison. I wait a few minutes and to my surprise the Assistant Manager Madison is the same person I saw prepare the sandwich in the 1st place sitting in the window at the drive through. I tell her I just came through the drive and bought a Whopper meal. I already had taken it from the bag. I open the wrapper and say Is this what your serving. She looks and says do you want another sandwich or your money back. No apology what so ever. Gives me $4.70 back not the entire price for a meal tells me I only have the sandwich. really. If I hadn't ate the fries 1st before reaching for the sandwich I would have had them too. The fact that Madison as a Supervisor an representation of World Wide Brand would make a sandwich that she wouldn't eat and give someone is appalling. If she doesn't give a damn about the job she has, she shouldn't be there. Unfortunately Job training doesn't fix self respect, for herself or your company. Unfortunately your company has a bigger problem then refunding my entire meal for the trouble, period. In these unsettling times you need every customer you can get. However I will not be returning to that particular franchise.
