Good afternoon All,
My name is Ms. Stephanie A. Pinkard and I'm writing this letter because I was a guest at Baymont Inn and Suites - Davenport, Iowa Room # 220 this past weekend, 14 September 2019.
On Sunday, 15 September 2019, prior to checking out, I woke up and began making up my bed and I saw a bedbug, crawling on top of the sheets that I had just slept in the night before. This is very alarming! And to add insult to injury, my Cousin Janice, was asleep and she jumped out quickly after I told her that ther's a bug in my bed. We contained the bug in a plastic and we immediately started pulling back the mattresses on both beds and in the process, the other bed where my cousin was sleeping had bugs under her mattress pad and after pulling the mattress cover off, there was a blood stain that didn't look to old! That blood stain looked reddish brown.
Soon afterwards, Janice contained the other bedbugs in a plastic bag and we of course, took pictures. What crossed my mind was, why hadn't the cleaning crew noticed the blood stains on the mattress pad? It's evident that the cleaning crew are not doing a thorough job in changing the bed linen at all.
I followed protocol and informed the manager on duty, Michelle and she provided me with the names of the other manager, Dorothy, and the name of the General Manager, Cory DeGroot. I thanked her, but, she didn't seem to care.in fact, she said that she doesn't know why people bring bedbugs into the hotels. I thought "Really" and I looked her dead in her face and told her that me and not anyone in my family brought bedbugs to this hotel! After a few minutes, she tried to do some damage control, but it was too late! I accepted her handwritten information that lists the points of contact that I needed to compose this email message. Sad!
On Monday, 16 September 2019, I called the hotel and spoke with Dorothy. All I got from her was that I needed to speak with Cory and I tried to call him, he wasn't gonna respond. I thought, Oh well. I can't wait to send this email message. These managers don't seem to give a damn about their guests and it's evident that they're shifting the responsibility on each other! Not one of them even went up to Room # 222 to inspect or quarantine the room! As of today, 17 September 2019, I have not heard from anyone at Baymont Inn - Davenport. And on all occasions, I have left my telephone number.
I have attached pictures of the creepy pests that I showed to Michelle and I asked her if she wanted to keep them as evidence. She told us to throw them in the trash.
At this time, I am very disgusted and frustrated and I will not stay at Baymont Inn - Davenport again! I am requesting a full refund for my restless night and/or some type of compensation for this terrible experience. I repeat, I do not want to stay at Baymont Inn - Davenport hotel every again! travelled eight hours from Kentucky to attend a family function (Gully Family) and I have never been so sleep-deprived and annoyed in my life!
I look forward to hearing from someone from Baymont Inn - Davenport soon, as this matter needs to be addressed and RESOLVED as soon as possible!

I do have photos, but I could not attach due to the format. I am trusting that I will be compensated for my inconvenience and frustration! Again, I am requesting a full refund for both rooms that I rented!
It's Stephanie Pinkard. I rented both Room # 220 and Room # 222. We had a family function this past weekend. The bedbugs were in Room # 220. I have provided my contact information and no one from that establishment has bothered to contact me period!
