J.D. Byrider - complete rip off

This place is a complete rip off and their customer service skills are extremely poor. I purchased my vehicle in late November, 2014 and since then I've had nothing but issues with this vehicle. JD Byrider advertises their 3 year 36, 000 mile warranty, but what good is a warranty if they do not service your car? Every time I've spoken with a service team member they've told me I'd have to wait anywhere from two weeks to over a month to get my car into the shop, it's ridiculous. The funny thing is, my friend's warranty expired before she had any issues with her car and she called them to get her car serviced and they fixed her car that day! They told her that her warranty expired and let her know that she would have to pay for any work done to her vehicle. After she agreed they got her into the shop that day, but they're giving me the run around to get my car fixed.
If you have poor credit and very little for a down payment they are eager to help you, because they know in the end you won't be able to afford the vehicle. They go through this "extensive budget plan" to ensure you have enough money to afford the payments, but it's a bunch of bull. I informed the person doing my budget plan that my bills would not stay the same, I told her I'd soon be moving into my own two bedroom apartment which would at the very least run me $600 a month. Knowing this she said I would be fine and still sold me the car. Even before I moved into my own place I would hardly have enough to afford the car, I would literally be broke the day I got paid from work. They sold me a car that is worth $5700 for $11, 900 and after the interest I will be paying $16, 000 for a 2004 Chevy Impala. There are multiple issues that I've had with this car since the day I purchased it, and it's only getting worse. The sad part is no one will fix it!
I would strongly advise anyone looking for a car to stay clear of this place! They're crooks and prey on people that they know cannot afford their cars. They don't tell you how much the car is until you're filling out paperwork. I asked my sales rep before I even went to the financing to fill out my paperwork how much my car was and she said she didn't know. I would have to speak with someone from CNAC to figure that out. They wait until the very last minute to tell you how much the car is and they don't mention that you'll be paying three times as much for the car in the end if not more.
Save your money for a down payment and go anywhere but here. They're awful! They advertise low down payments, but they have differed down payments and I still ended up paying over $1000 for a down payment. You do not pay on the car until the interest is paid off so you won't even start paying on your vehicle until the amount of the interest is paid off.

J.D. Byrider - misleading/ripoffs

I bought a 95 Neon from JD Byrider who promised me a great car. I didnt have to put a lot down and was supposed to be paying 199.00 a month. Instead I was paying 300.00 per month. At any rate I went looked at the car pretty clean inside and out no problems or issues with the car when I test drove it. I came back the next day (it took so long to get the paperwork done I was even late for work). I drove it the prob 2.5 miles across town to work and the engine light came on. I immeadiately called the place and told them what happened the man I talked to said "well was the light on when u test drove it" I said umm no he said "well its your problem then and hung up". Anyways, so the car started dying and chugging while I was trying to get the car home from work...So I called talked to a manager who assured me he would take care of the problem and have someone look at it. So I took the car back in and they called me a week later and told me it was done .. ended up being a broken plug wire.
Ok car was running better, but the next week the air stopped working and the door knob fell off so I couldnt open the door unless i was outside... took it back in to be repaired ...
Upon picking up the car from the lot AGAIN I was driving home and the car was pulling and vibrating. So I called them back they said that I had to have done something to the car. I advised them that I had just picked up the car and it started doing that. Anyways I took it to my mechanic to figure out what was wrong with it and he told me that it looked like someone ran over a parking median or something because it had yellow paint chips under the car. So I called back the lot again and they told me that I had to have done it while driving home.
At that point frusterated I told them to come get the car from my drive I was no longer keeping it, nor was I driving it back over there because the man told me he wasnt fixing it. That car sat in my driveway for 3 months .. i got no calls or anything lol, When they finally did call asking for a payment I advised them that 3 months ago I had told them to come and get the car, that I had taken the car in and had to have it fixed within the first week then when driving it home .. blah blah..
Ok so the manager calls me back asking me if I want to keep the car because they would fix it right (for NO CHARGE) if I would catch up my payments.
I took the car in and signed the lease rental papers for another car while mine was getting fixed and I asked the man.. are you sure you are not going to charge me to fix the car.. he said I dont know I have to talk to the mechanic. I said well thats not what you told me over the phone, im not paying to fix the car when I did nothing to break it. He said well if you dont like it then I guess we can just call this deal quits right now.. SOOOO I took my rental paper and tore it up and went to the lot took out my stereo and my plates off and left the car in the middle of the lot. They called me a week later to see if I still wanted the car, I told them to stick it im done with them.
Anyways 6 years ago I filed bankruptcy on medical bills and JDbyrider and CNAC still sells my loan to other companies trying to retrieve their money.. This company is horrible and needs to refund all the money they scammed from buyers all around the US. I think they should also go to jail for the unethical business practices that they show. :( TEN HANDS DOWN
BUYERS BEWARE DO NOT BUY CARS FROM DAN NELSON (THE NEW NAME) OR JD BYRIDER
