1/21/22 -2 rear tires change out. Goodyear rma 15"oem for 1998 jeep sport. Monkeys couldnt figure how to make their lift fit"small"vehicle. Once up (precariously) wheels removed-these clowns removed the hubs and broke them, never in 3 full sets of tires has anyone removed the hubs. Wsa a mile away before I saw the 1st hub spin off and disappear. Rite back to urbandale shop-monkeys told me hubs were loose as the mope broke the drivers side off to show me" see" said the drooler. These hubs are installed from the rear of the wheel with loktite at the factory, they never came off by themselves. Dont go to urbandale iowa store # 353335 zach is in charge-for what thats worth-firestone corporate wont help you even thought this store is in court with more than one customer-spend your money elsewhere pork them with your buck.
Desired outcome: RECONDITIONED HUBS ARE 75$ EACH -YOU OWE ME FOR TWO-YOU SEND ME A CHECK
Firestone Complete Auto Care - 2 tire installation
This shop at 4850 NWUrbandale dr in urbandale iowa blows. I bought 2 Goodyear OEM tires for my 1998 TJ Sport from Tirerack.com, the tires wereOEM and great! The shop was a TR recommended installer. They didnt quite know how to set the lift for a "short" vehicle said mutt#1. Ive put 3 full sets of tires on this TJ and I have been the ONLY owner. They took the center wheel posts off the rims-they are screwed in from the back of the rim. When I left, I didnt get 1 mile from the shop when the 1st post came off. I went back to the shop and was told by the same tire monkeys that both posts were stripped? and one tech just broke the other sides post off and handed it to me and said "see" I CCW legally in this state so I would get into more trouble if I pushed matters so I did not. The replacement cost to me for the posts was 35$ a piece and due to the Jeeps year Ebay was the only seller. This shop doesnt seem to have qualified techs so save your money and go to a reputable vendor.
Desired outcome: send me a check foor 35$
firestone "regional manager" called me at home. Useless, didnt believe my version. On speaker phone of course, another fool.Did offer to "wright a check" fully knowing repairs would have to be done AT THE URBANDALE IOWA Store- not in this life. I had to explain to this idiot that the hub was screwed in(mounted) to the wheel FROM BEHIND-so the wheels had to come off. Who will do the woork? the same monkeys who broke it in the first place-I hung up on this dick
