On 1/12/23 I put a long rifle on layaway in Texarkana Tx, the time was 13.38. When I went to pick up, they handed me the form to fell out everything was going as it always does, but the employee by the name Jay told me we made a mistake by taking it in from you and that I would not be able to pawn it again, that's when I made the comment that I put it in layaway from the rifle rack and that he was confused. That's when he took the computer form from me and told me he couldn't sell me the rifle because they made a mistake and put it out to sell when they should have never took it in, and that he could give me my refund but that was it. So when talking to Josh he told me he was the district mng and the reason they couldn't sell me the rifle was company policy does not allow them to sell a Drako lookalike. When I told him that mine was a long gun in a 9 mm he still told me it was considered a Drako and that he could not do anything but give me a refund and the person that lost it was to be called to pick it up. That's when I asked him after being a long and loyal customer who has purchased a lot of inventory from your stores, if he could make it up on another purchase by a small discount and he told me no all he could do is refund me and that was it. Now I'm not sure if I will ever go to any other Cash American ever again after this incident on how they treat loyal customers. I also asked for Josh a number for someone above him and he told me there is no number but his and all other numbers come back to him. Hopefully this practice doesn't go on a lot.
Desired outcome: I would like someone to apologize for the mistake and make it right some how and better training in the future, and don't treat good customers like they did something wrong when it was the store.
Cash America Pawn - Television
I stopped by the store to purchase a TV. Once I get to the counter the person behind the counter ring up my TV but did not say nothing about any insurance plans. Which means that now that the TV is not working after having it only 4 days that I cannot get the TV return to get a different TV because nobody offered me the insurance plan that I should have purchased if I had known about it. I did not know anything about insurance plan until I called today and they told me unless you had that insurance plan which they never told me about I got to return the TV so I'm a little angry right now and since I'm an angry customer there's likely a chance that I will not recommend going to Cash America to get anything. Can you please refund my money?
