On 1/17/21, I order food online for delivery from HUB Restaurant, located at 5540 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60625. I received a call from Mohammed - [protected]. He stated that my address was incorrect. I apologize then gave him my correct address and apartment number. He stated, "I'm not going up any stairs". I stated that if I knew that he would not follow the directions given online that I would have picked-up the food myself.
I stated that I can not come to get it from him because I was not home and that my husband was home. I also reminded him that I indicated in the online ordering app that the delivery person was to ring the doorbell and leave the food at the door. He blew his breath in the phone and then hung up on me.
After phoning my husband to open the door to receive the food, it was laying against the banister and not against to our door and he still did not ring the bell. He was rude and didn't follow the directions given on the app.
I would like a refund of my delivery cost. He was extremely rude and ignorant.
