Daughter bought a screen protector for her new watch and barley bumped it and it cracked. Took it back to the store for a refund and customer service refused to return it, "claiming it did its job" I've bought tons of these from Amazon and some brand just crack this easy. Amazon would of have handled this with no problem.
Nebraska Furniture Mart - Delivery and incorrect product
To whom it may concern,
On 06/30/2019 my fiance purchased about 5K worth of furniture from Nebraska Furniture Mart. This was our second purchase from the Kansas City Missouri store, the first being over 15K after returning from a military deployment. Our first experience was great, the company delivered all of our products to our door, placed our products throughout the house, and assembled them.
Our second experience was a far cry from our first. Our salesman was Nick C, and our order was #[protected]. As I stated before we purchased on 06/30/19, we picked up everything but two chairs, those were to be delivered to our new house in Virginia.
Upon check out, the customer service representative stated that "when the products come into our warehouse we (NFM) will notify a third party delivery service to come pick up from our warehouse". The next instructions were that the third party service would contact us to establish a delivery date. This was Problem #1, after not hearing from anyone regarding the chairs my fiance called on July 17th 2019. The representative stated that "we where waiting for you to call to tell us(the warehouse) that the products were ready to be delivered." This was clearly not the course of action we were told would happen.
Problem #2 was that when the products were delivered over a month after the phone call, a month and a half after our order, we received the WRONG product. The chairs we thought we were purchased were located next to the Finn Sofa SKU [protected] on 6/30/19. What we received were not even close to the chairs we purchased.
Although they work with the room we still find it to be an issue and would like customers to be aware of what they order and what they receive. Take pictures of everything you are going to have delivered. We are over a 1000 mile from the nearest NFM and after this problem we dont want to have to deal with a return policy that could be just as bad if not worse process.

Nebraska Furniture Mart - toro rider mower
I ordered a lawnmower for my husband from your website requested a ship date of 07/18/19 a customer service representative called me back and said the requested ship date had to be moved up because the purchase had to be delivered on a special truck I said ok made arrangements to be available to have the item delivered on 07/15/19, the item got to my home the delivery driver didn't know anything about the machine not how to start it or even put the gas in it, after fumbling around for 30 mins or so the driver finally got the gas in the machine then left, I went to start the machine it would not turn on I called the driver back he did not pick up his phone, I immediately called customer service they said they would send someone else out but they didn't know what time, I then got a hold of a different customer service representative Kathy CF-17 (her manager is Isabelle Comstock at Isabel.comstock@NFM.Com) Kathy told me I needed to contact the Toro Technical Support Team for assistance she gave me a phone number of 816-524-6695 I called them and was informed that it would be at least three weeks before they could send someone out to look at the machine. That is not acceptable. I called NFM Customer Service Back got ahold of Bob M at extension 27733 explained that 3 weeks to wait for a machine to be fixed that is only hours old is not acceptable and that I'm tired of dealing with this and just want to return the product have my account credited and they can come pick up the machine. Bob informs me that the product is non-returnable and non-refundable. So even though I purchased a product that should be in working condition when it arrived at my home and it was not its only hours old, it wasn't working when they pulled it off the truck and it wasn't working when they left it in my driveway unable to start. I can't return the item. That is unacceptable. You should not sell items that you cannot support and when you outsource support for items that you sell then that support should be immediate. The desired resolution for this for you to have someone from your company come to my house and pick up this item and credit my account in full.
Nebraska Furniture Mart - reclining sofa
I purchased this sofa less than 13 months ago and filed a complaint on the reclining mechanism in the first year. You sent a man out to fix it and it wouldn't do what I was complaining about but now it does it all the t time. Also I have stitching coming loose on the right hand seat. It's hard to believe no one will help me with this but that I have to pay the labor even though it has a warranty of 5 years. I would appreciate anything you can help me with.
Nebraska Furniture Mart - employment
I got hired on Full Time (@ $11 per hour) on back in March 15, of [protected]). I thought "WOW! This is my 1st Full Time job since in 5 very long years!"
The HR person (who had hired me) called me on March 18 (2 days before my 1st day on the job.), told me "You did not easily passed the Lift Test. (Lift 125# box 10 times). Don't come in on Monday. (3-20-13). I will call you on Monday to try so set up another interview.
(NFM was over a week and a half with there call. I was under the impression I would get another job offer @ the end of the interview!)
I finally had my interview, NO 2nd JOB OFFER @ the end of the interview. About a week later, they decided to hire somebody else!
I WAS SHOCKED when they told me. Especially whenever the ASKED ME THE SAME QUESTION @ the interview that had ended up with me with a JOB OFFER!
After that, the HR person told me I can retake the "Lift Test" (even tho I PASSED IT IN THE 1st PLACE), but, I would have to wait a while to retake it.
1 month later, I emailed HR to see what's going on. HR replayed "We don't think its been long enough."
1 more month later (about 2 months of total waiting time), I email the HR to see again, what's going on. HR replayed back basically "We appreciate you being interested in working at NFM! At this time we are pursuing other candidates. Good luck with your job search!
AGAIN, I WAS SHOCKED AGIAN! I was AGIAN was under the impression I was going to get another job offer!
@ this period of time (7/9/13) . For over a month now, the HR and Customer Service has stop returning my phone calls and emails. Both of there FaceBooks pages and there Youtube channels will not respond. There Online Customer Service Chat refuse to help me, saying "You need to contact the HR Department.". They Chat tells me that AFTER I told them "The HR WILL NOT return any of my phone calls and emails!"
Last time CHECKED, a PASS is still a PASS(ITS LIKE THAT EVERYWHERE!)! They teach that kind of stuff in SCHOOL, @ EVERY GRADE LEVEL, INCLUDING COLLEGES!
I was already looking for apartments and stuff when the OFFERED ME A JOB! I have been UNEMPLOYED SINCE THEN! I AM UNABLE TO COLLECT Unemployment BECAUSE I ACCETPED A FULL TIME JOB @ NEBRASKA FURITURE MART!
I could not get my old job back @ the place I lose to work at!
The RICHER GETS RICHER, AND THE POORER GETS EVEN MORE POORER!
Because what they did, I think I was laid offed form NFM. I was not giving the REQUIRED (State, and Fed. laws) 60 days notice. They DID NOT GIVE me the REQUIRED (State and Fed. laws) 60 days of W.A.R.N. Pay! (over $5, 000!) NFM knows about it, the don't respond!
