My daughter and I have been members about 8 years, (approx). We were informed that starting June 2021, there will be a $5.00 increase added to members monthly fee. This is to help increase a more competitive pay for employees in the midst of this pandemic. The last eight to nine months has been very hard getting appointments. Most times we have waited over a month to get any available spots. This is even when we utilize others locations. I have thirteen (13) unused visits and my daughter has eleven (11). Yet we are charged a monthly fee when it is very hard getting an appointment. These visits are piling up asappt. Accessibility gets less available with longer intervals between visits. I will be @ my highest level of passivity if I ENE up losing these already paid for visits. We too, like Massage Envy employees, are living with lower pay, lay offs, fixed incomes, increased cost of living, diminished medical coverage, and less bang for our bucks.
Desired outcome: Nix the additional mthly fee/more options to use pre-paid visits
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

So, how did massage envy resolve your issue? I am in the same situation. I have about 15 unused paid massages and every time I try to make an appointment the masseuses schedule isn't out yet or they don't have any available appointments. I have been a member since about 2011 and have had several surgeries and illnesses which have inhibited me from using my massages. If I cancel my membership I will lose a large sum of money...I could put my membership on hold but I can't use any massages during that time. If I cancel my membership I only have a short time to use up 15 massages...
