Filing a complaint on cedar garden and towers apartment. first off the staff you have on board is unprofessional, very rude and intolerable.
2nd this apartment we moved in to on September 30 is infested with mice, spiders and bed bugs. my new bed is now infested and also I have an allergic reaction all over my body to the bug bites I went in person and showed Philip who is another employee there October 17 or 18 these bites marks are from several different kind of bugs as well as my 3. children came in contact with bites . I'm on several medication while pregnant for these bug bites I wake up to have my food being eaten by mice and mice *** everywhere.
I reported the incident immediately in person and online and yet nothing has been done I received a letter that the exterminators were coming today 10/25 but no time frame. I go to the office to talk to one of the staff members and re-explain my concerns and the heavy set lady with a black mole on her right side of her face was very hostile and rude. Every time I call and to speak to someone I speak to sydnee cause she is the one to answer and is unbelievably rude and today 10/25/19 I actually walked in to her conversations about my apartment being infested and joking about it. but when she saw me walk in in right timing she stop talking to her coworker with Dread locks and realized it's my unit she is talking about I called her today this morning on my first week at my new job to find out what time will the exterminator beat my unit she had no idea and they will come when they can.
I left work early just to make sure this was gonna get done and to finish bagging my belongings as I stated I'm pregnant and in pain due to the cellulitis caused by the bug bites but obviously couldn't finish in time bc like I stated this is my first week on the new job. When I carried on conversation with Sydney she advised that the apartment wasn't infested before we moved in so I stated that I didn't know she was the tenant living there before me, I also said well we just moved in so what are you implying that we brought the infestation she said she is not saying that but the apartment was cleared before we moved in and than I stated watch it bc now your contradicting yourself cause we have only been here 9/30/19 and today is 10/25/19 and most of our stuff is in boxes still. I was given a check off list to check off when I moved in with what is wrong with things in this apartment and had 7 days to hand in that In, I handed it in already I was advised someone was coming to fix things no one has came. It only took me 3 weeks to decided that this is not the facility for me and was trying to get a transfer to another facility of Morgan property but they advised today that I have to be here 6 months to do a smooth move transfer and that will not be happening because I have only been here 3 weeks.
I paid up front 500 and 558 and than was charged a pet fee for my service animal and since the Morgan property "attorney" approved my service animal they added the 300 and something to the following months rent. When we moved in the apartment it smelled like cat *** the lights on the outside are broken and while pregnant I fell and tripped on steps. None of the cabinets have sturdy stable shelves I actually had to throw out dishes that broke. The toilets are always running the blinds are always falling and breaking when they fall.
there is no screens on windows in the upstairs room or sliding door the screen actually broken. There is wholes in some ways and these weird lil bugs coming out the carpet as well the list goes on As of now my kids sleep on the floor bc there beds are not set up due to the bed bugs while mice run over them. I've called me Paul Morgan to get a in contact with me and Lisa morrillo and I have yet to hear from any one from corporate so I called another apartment complex to get advice on what to do when I did speak to some one in silver spring apartments (410)999-1580 they went back to advise the heavy set lady with the mole on her face that I wanted to speak to corporate about this facility and what I can do about my situation in fact that's when I realized that sydnee was talking about this unit bc I was the one who spoke to the gentleman in silver spring. Than the lady with the mole on her face advised me that they came and took pictures of my apartment which is very invasive to prove that the job wasn't completed due to my things not being put in bags so if I don't hear from corporate soon my attorney will be contacting you soon.
Today's is 10 /25/2019 I would add picture but I'll wait till someone reaches out. Thank you
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $1000.
Preferred solution: smooth Transfer to another facility or my money back to move to some where else
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
