Received horrible treatment at Great Clips today. Did an on-line check in for my mom - now with full disclosure my phone selected the Honeygo location and not the Belair Road/Safeway shopping center location and I did not notice. Upon arrival I was advised that mom was not pre-checked and that’s when I learned if the error of my location check in (my mom has been going to the Belair Road location since the store closer to her closed, about two years now). This was the first time the stylist was rude; almost to the point of dismissing me to the other location. No, mom wants to stay here where she is comfortable and used to the surroundings. So at this point I’m guessing she was a walk-in check-in. There were two other people there when we arrived. Those two people were taken, then two others that arrived after we had because, I assume, they had checked-in on line. After about 20 minutes, when they were taking yet a third person who arrived after us, I questioned this process and was informed that ALL on-line checks in were taken priority. This is unacceptable. I understand the process to a certain degree, but we did attempt to on-line check in and the stylist was well aware of that. She then became even more rude and offered no assistance or reasoning as to why my moms name kept getting put to the bottom of the list for service. Again, I take responsibility for selecting the incorrect location. But I find her willful neglect to provide service in s timely manner unconscionable.

Desired outcome: Train stylist to be more custom friendly. Revise the check-in /walk-in policy so that a walk-in (or, in our case a mistaken check-in) is not consistently moved to the bottom of the service list.
