I am a resident of 20 Lambourne Road in Towson, Md and have observed some questionable practices with Pollard Towing Company and the Management of 20 Lambourne. This "luxury" apartment building in the heart of Towson serves any from doctors, lawyers, and educators to career oriented, goal seeking college students. I recently, July and August 2015, observed Pollard's Towing Company entering a secured garage and prowling to seek vehicles for towing. I noticed on many occasions that this is done after the leasing office is closed so no complaint was made to have a vehicle towed. Upon signing the lease you are given a hang tag and a reserved spot with a number that only your registered vehicle should park in. But apparently Pollard Towing does have access to the garage however not the registered list and are towing cars that are not displaying the hang tag. It is apparent that many do not want to consistently ride around displaying their address while out in the general public, which is on the hang tag and often time may forget to display the tag, however do park in the assigned parking spot and that is indeed registered to them at the time of lease signing and paying a monthly fee for. Although many residents most of which are college students have complained of this practice to management but have been ignored and overlooked, which leaves one to suspect some type of kick back or fraudulent practice. These prowl no earlier than 8:45pm, which is once the office is closed and up the wee hours of the morning making it difficult at times to safely access the parking garage.
