Firestone Complete Auto Care - "Just" an oil change Canton MI

Brad took care of me at the front desk. We agreed to an oil change. He did a battery test, said it needed to be changed due to temp. I declined because it was under 2 years old, and I did not believe him. Then told me my brake fluid needed to be flushed, I agreed after he showed me the PH strip.

Total came out to $132.64. I then drove off the property, and after a 2 days I noticed fluid dripping in the rear near the tires. I checked the brake fluid, and noticed that was the issue due to it being low.

The mechanics wrote on the work order that "Bleeders would not open." I called and they told me that It "should" be fine, but to bring it back in if I wanted to. I mentioned that they wrote the bleeders would not open, and they told me that they "personally did it, and that was not the truth" although it said it on the workorder otherwise. I did not trust the Canton location from that point on.

Brought my car in, explained the situation. They asked why I would not bring it back to the original location, and mentioned that my trust in that location was gone and would like to have this fixed ASAP as this was focused on my brakes and could have put me in danger.

After looking at my car, they also noted that the battery was "Good" (differing from canton location) and they said that now both brake calipers would need to be replaced and mentioned that each location has insurance to cover these situations. They suggested I call the previous location for reimbursement for the issue to cover the repair. I called Brad and mentioned that I would like his bosses number. He claimed he was not available and was in a meeting, but would be happy to personally help. Told him I would like to be reimbursed, as I was about to have the brake calipers done, told me he would get with his boss to discuss.

Brad (Canton) called me back and said his boss agreed to cover only $400 (sent to my back to my card 10/12/2022) of the $722.70 repair that was caused by their inability to open the bleeders, and I mistakenly agreed in which I deserved a full refund.

The Ann Arbor location replaced the calipers thankfully and I was on my way.

1/11/2023 As of today, I noticed after looking under the front end of my suv, when the oil was changed in canton on 9/23/2022, they did not reinstall the skid plate/engine slip cover and it has been off of my vehicle for 4 months.

I feel I have been played, and now parts of my car have been removed without reinstallation or courtesy to call that they have they still have the plate. I did not enjoy service Firestone mentions as part of their promise to promote the customer experience, and I feel what was supposed to be routine maintenance ended up being a big regret.

Desired outcome: I would like the remainder of the brake caliper repair as I should have demanded to begin with totaling $322.70, after having myself being put in potential danger, receiving awful service.
