Performance Plus Quick Oil Change Centers

I went to the PPQOC establishment in Hastings Michigan where I have always gone on July 29, 2023…. I have gone to this place many years… there were two attendants working and were more concerned about trying to get ALEXA to play music…basically paying more attention to what song they wanted to hear…. We decided which oil to put in my vehicle which was the same I always get.. they checked my odometer to get the new mileage for the window sticker…. And in less than 10 minutes they collected the money for the service…they never checked tire pressure, they didn’t check ANY of the lights.. never checked the cabin filter, which I know would probably need to be replaced, yet all of these services were on the reciept as being done which was a lie! I was sitting in the car the whole time and know for sure…. now I wonder if they even did replace the oil filter like it says they did.

But what I’m more upset about is that ever since I was there for the ‘oil change’ my car has had issues starting…EVERY TIME.. I haven’t had any issues with my car prior and now it doesn’t want to start.. I’ve almost been stranded at a few locations when turning the key there was nothing… and after a few tries it reluctantly starts to sound like it’s trying to turn over.

My husband has checked the battery and also put a charger on it and it doesn’t make a difference… my battery is less than 2 years old and I was pretty sure that it wasn’t the battery…

I’m on a fixed budget and don’t have the extra money for unnecessary expenses…

I’m just so furious that I have never had an issue at this establishment from all the years I’ve been going there (my husband and my daughters also have been going there) and then having the service from the attendants be so insufficient and lie about it.

Now I’m afraid to go anywhere for fear I may be stranded. I have been letting everyone I know about this issue and I don’t think I could ever trust the service there again!
