I ordered a quadruple expresso with my order of 3 breakfast sandwiches, latte, and hot chocolate for my son. When I received my expresso, the entire cup was full. I took to the table, opened and saw it was not expresso I returned to the counter and the girl told me that was expresso. I showed my wife, and she said take it back, I walked to the counter and the entire staff was talking to the manager listening to his story about how he felt about thanksgiving. I set my cup down and the girl behind the counter took it. We finished our breakfast and me without any beverage, I walked to the counter and asked for a refund. they called the manager, and he started making excuses of why they did not fix the order on my initial interaction with the worker. He said " I have no idea, no one told me. I said it's your job to know and they should be telling you customer feedback, he said I gave your money back what else to you want, I said good customer service and use this experience to train your team. He flagged me away with his hand stating again, I already paid you just leave.
I have been a customer in Holland MI for 20 years and this is the worst food and service I have ever had in anywhere. When I got home, I checked my refund, and he only gave me 2 shot refund and not 4. I asked his name, and he told me AJ.
Claimed loss: $6.34 for only refunding 2 shots.
Desired outcome: Send me a give card for the balance of the return and give the manager customer service training and so he understands he is there for the quests and not himself.

Why did you expect the manager to be a mind reader? If his employee didn't make him aware and you didn't say anything except to criticize, he did what he could. Leave your negativity at home.
