After reviewing my husbands receipt, I noticed the cost was much higher than it should be. So I went item for item and realized we were charged twice for one shirt. Item number and description confirms matched findings.
I contacted the store and they said they couldn’t help me and that I would have to come in to the store for them to correct the issue as they were treating it as a return not a refund.
Side note - Extremely busy family with lots of kids in travel sports and we coach. We do not have time to go to the store. We only went in to the store because we were by one heading to another and had to get cold gear asap.
They said they couldn’t do anything about it unless I came in.
So I called customer service because I do not have the time and I should not have to go out of my way to get my money back on their mistake.
Customer service said nothing we can do because you went to a store to shop.
I asked to speak to a manager because I didn’t feel as if the customer service representative even cared that a mistake was made by it shouldn’t be up to me to make right by them. She said there was nobody higher than her that works there and that was it.
In the return policy nowhere does it say that refunds on a purchase had to be made in store only. It only states returns or exchanges, not refunds of items not received. There is even a part that talks about prices being honored and it does not even say in there that they will only be honored in store only. If the company makes a mistake they should correct it. It would cost me just as much to get my refund as it is worth. That just doesn’t settle with me quite right.
Desired outcome: Refund please. I would also appreciate respect of my time as I tried to support your business not somebody else’s.
