We purchased a King size King Coil mattress from Art Van furniture in Michigan. Our salesperson told us Art Van owned the King Coil factory and if anything were to happen to the mattress it could be replaced. Soon after we started sleeping on the mattress, it started "caving" in. We called and Art Van sent out a guy with a measuring stick to assess the dent. He told us that we would never get the mattress replaced because the dent had to be a certain #of inches- the pillow top would always mask the actual condition of the mattress. You would have to lay on the bed to notice and that's not how they determine the condition of the mattress. I called (and wrote) Art Van again and all they did was send out another inspector w/ a ruler. We are going to have to through away this crappy mattress. We now live in Florida and Art Van is in Michigan- we will tell all our friends and family who still live in Michigan to never deal with Art Van again. You'd think after buying well over $8K of furniture from them over the years they would have at least replaced the mattress or given us a credit toward a different brand.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

We were ready to pick it up on March 23rd and Art Van closed the store because of pandemic.
It's May 11th stores are still closed we haven't received the furniture and they cashed her check.
Now I see online many other customers are having the same problem.
Was told could I use my card during your liquidation. Went to purchase a substantial amount of furniture & was told no sales allowed using any Art Van cards. Let store quite angry. You need to say this before people show up to purchase from your store. Employees were also rude and mouthy.

It has taken me sometime to come forward with this. I applied for a job at this location, I spoke with the manager several times I was excited about the in person interview. The manager came out and walked away. I waited an hour and the customer rep was sent to interview me and turned me down for the job. I left the store in tears. Ms. Clara Ewing
Another male approached as I was walking to my car staring at me in an intimidating manners. I have never been treated as such it was devastating, demeaning and very discriminatory.
We bought this couch 3 years ago From Art Van and I can't believe the wear and tear..I have had couches that lasted a lot longer than that..this was obviously cheap quality..it's a shame we spent so much money on the items we bought through them. We are now going to go to Bobs furniture instead..
I ordered a couch and loveseat online that said in stock now they call and said both are on back order. One us over a month wait. Why did they both say in stock. Then they tried to sell us a protection plan. They should throw that in for free or at least offer free delivery for the wait.

I noticed a big rip in the stitching of the corner end top cushion of the loveseat I ordered that needs to be fixed.

There is a large rip along the seams of the love seat I purchased with Art Van
There us a large rip along the seam in the top left corner of my love seat.
I purchased a furniture set and was promised a new tv a few days later looking at my receipt i was charged $500 i made several complaints and received a different answer everytime they say they discount the furniture to get the free tv but i wrote down the price of every item i bought and it was never discounted when i checked out scammers
