Caribou Coffee

My wife and I were in the drive thru on 4/1719 10:00 am. My wife was in the passenger seat smoking her cigarette. Our windows were up because it was down pouring outside. We're both in our 50's and have lived in Mounds View for 20 years and have been going to Caribou as long as it's been open. We've always been treated with respect. As we were pulling away the girl who saved us decided to educate us about state law and what we were doing wrong. Not in a nice way but very condescending. She's probably about 25 years old, blond hair with glasses. Minnesota state law specifically states that it is legal to smoke in your car in a drive thru. No one has ever did this in a drive thru before much less as rude as she was. I've fought for my country and have received a purple heart. I don't need some little liberal snot to tell me I can't smoke in my car. With the way the economy is this young disrespectful snot should be working about selling coffee and not disrespecting her elders. You have lost 2 customers permanently because you don't educate your staff how to speak to people. From what I understand Caribou Coffee isn't doing all that great financially but I'm sure you don't care. Just remember, we as Americans still have some rights that I fought for and you're welcome. It's NOT a state law that you can't smoke in your own vehicle. Look it up and educate your liberal brats that work for you!
