I am currently an employee with Family Dollar in Mississippi. If you know the weather in MS, it is sweltering in the heat of the summer. I like my job, but as soon as I walk into the store to begin my shift, I start sweating. It is miserable. My manager thought the AC unit was broke recently, so someone came and looked at it. It was fine. It is my understanding that corporate controls the thermostat, but I don't think corporate has any idea of how hot it is here. Can someone please, please, please take this into consideration and bump the thermostat down a few notches? And I am not the only one who is affected by this. I have had over 20 customers at least complain about the heat. I just want to be somewhat comfortable when I am on my shift.
Desired outcome: Please turn the air down.
