Toyota - Blind spot monitor malfunction poorly handled service with no fix (APEX Hendrick Toyota)

On 07/06/21, myself (Srimathi Srinivasan) and my BIL dropped my car at APEX Hendrick Toyota to examine the Blind Spot Monitor malfunction warning message in my Toyota Prius 2017. After inspecting Toyota service manager David Sanders told that it would cost a total of $435 plus taxes totaling $505 to do the fixes. We agreed and asked them to fix the issue. We were not informed that the problem could recur. The next day we picked up the car in the evening and the very next day the warning sign started coming again when I was driving to Memphis. There was no way for me to get the car back for fixing. My BIL called and spoke with David Sanders and other managers at Hendrick Toyota. They told that we should take the car to the body shop to have it fixed as there was painters tape and orange peel. They also told that they would refund the money paid less inspection. However, when I called and spoke with David, he told that Insurance should take care of the fix and refund the money. He mentioned he was willing to talk to insurance. This was a new spin, I told I would double check with my BIL as he mentioned Toyota would refund the money. After this, I left so many messages requesting for refund with no luck. Then I finally took my car to Calliber Collision in Memphis. They found no painters tape or orange peel. They fixed the issue with re-calibrating the sensors. They told previously no calibration work was done. In essence
1. Hendrick Toyota did not disclose that their repair work may or may not eliminate the issue.
2. They miscommunicated on refunding which they never did
3. After repeated messages, no call back or response
I would greatly appreciate if Hendrick Toyota would refund me the $505 money.
Best

Desired outcome: $505 refund of charges paid
