View all complaintsClinique - Rudeness/age discrimination
I worked in retail for seven years so I do not consider myself an unreasonable person when it comes to customer service. However, when I had to stand at the Clinique counter today (in Belks) for 20 minutes while the employee chatted with two elderly women, I got extremely irritated. I got even more so when the two other women working in the different cosmetic sections just blankly stared at me. When another woman with a gallon of make-up on her face (eyebrows drawn on wider than my thumb) came up to where I was, the other two women almost fell over themselves to help her. Yes, maybe she's older, wears more make-up, and probably spends ridiculous amounts of money on cosmetics, but I was still amazed. I look like I'm 15, even though I'm 23, but I never discriminated against age when I worked in retail. I went ahead and spent $150 on Clinique online this afternoon. I'm done with Belk's Clinique. I would not recommend shopping there unless you enjoy bad customer service or support age discrimination.

Dear Sir,
I have already sent two letters of complaint and heard nothing
If you respond i will send them to you.
Very disappointed with your customer service.
Yours faithfully,
Gordon R Ferrie.
I made an online purchase on June 16. I never received my order. I received a big box without my order. The only item was a small sample which was also incorrect sample.
I have sent numerous emails ... NO response. This is a rip off.

Ridiculous.
TO STEALTH PILOT:
"Is your mouth broke?" Really? Is that necessary? I could say to you, "Could you speak/type proper grammar?" But that would serve no useful purpose - other than to be rude, wouldn't it?
Your remarks seem really uncalled for, unless your goal was to incite more of this back and forth nonsense.
Clearly, you are not a site moderator. Therefore, regardless of how you perceive the incident, I don't think this is an appropriate platform to attack another poster. We are not here to judge what complaints WE feel are acceptable or have merit.
You harshly berate this individual in a very condescending manner. How is such criticism helpful to anyone?
Perhaps in the future, when you come across reviews YOU feel are unwarranted, handled inappropriately - or whatever the case may be, those perusing this site would be better served if you simply skip over them all together. Especially if all you have to offer essentially amounts to name calling. Not surprisingly, the poster felt the need to defend her position, which she should not have to do.
Again, I don't believe we are here to judge the VALIDITY of another's complaint. Rather, I believe the intent is to interject COURTEOUS advice, share a similar experience, or something - anything that might be helpful to all and NOT hurtful to anyone.
