Petco

I have had our dogs groomed at Petco for years and since hurricane Florence repairs at this store, they have closed off the door to the salon. You now have to enter the store next to birds and other fragile animals and stand there till someone sees you and comes out from the grooming area. The groomer has to leave a dog she is grooming on the table to go check you in. In the meantime, such as yesterday, people are all over the store with their animals and the dog I brought yesterday is not particularly friendly with cats or some other dogs.
When checking out, I paid and came back to get the dog and the trainer was sitting right at the entrance with a large shepherd type dog who then turned to the dog with me and began growling and my dog starting reacting, so I had to drag him out of the store. This set-up is not conducive whatsoever to customer service and not sure if I will be returning again.
BTW, the grooming staff is great and really love them, so in no was is this a reflection on them.
