i walked into a supercuts hair salon and was refused service a colour for my hair they said they coudlnt do it
after that i applied for a job at supercuts i have been in the hair industry for many years and wanted to improove my skilss . I went into suerpcuts jsut to ask for directions to the studio and they were very rude telling me they could not give me any information about that and the studio was located right behind the salon .
when i went to the studio school the teacher was a very good stylist but i feel she treated me very unfairly. I was picked on from the moment i walked in
i was dressed appropriately for my franchise which allows us to wear coloured shirts with black shoes and black pants
they we started on the manikans and were asked to make sections she kept saying they were not good enough and making me do them over and over and lost patience with me
this made me nervous as i felt i was being unjustly punished and then she asked em to leave which i left a good job wher ei was assistant manager and now unemployed because she woudlnt give me a fair chance
my franchisee saw my womens cut and said it was very good but the teacher wrote4 me up and made me sound very bad
i feel she didnt like my appearance or was prejudice because of the colour of my skin and i am older she didnt have any patience for me and was rude and unkind . she could have told me after class but instead she embarrassed me in front of the class and asked me to leave and it upset me so bad . i have worked many years in the industry and never have i treated anyone or any customer so rude
i cant see why you cant improove your customer service and salon teachers since your in the business of customer service why are you treating people this way . I would never step foot in another supercuts as long as i live and when i did get a hair cut there it was very uneven and my daughter didnt like hers at all and it was uneven . Your school should be focusing on customer service and not fake mannequins and partings and c shapings and pinch partings if the customer service is poor and the haircut is not good . Prices for colour are also very high . This is unfair to lead cosmetoligists on thinking they will learn and get a good job with you and to leave a good job only to get picked on by your salon teacher (anita) and now be unemployed. Please dont put any more girls through this horrible experience as one day the better business bureau will come in and tell you to change your whole system and learn manners for all your employess . Perhaps its best what happened i refude to work with cosmetoligists that are rude to the public .
