On May 31st 2023 Me and my husband went into the store located on Airport rd
in Santa Fe New Mexico around 5:45pm we Clearly asked the representative at the store if we could activate a phone we had as it was a bit older it was a Samsung A11 because our other one had broken but it was the same exact phone. she stated she could but that she had to charge me an activation fee of $35.00 I told her that was fine as soon as she was done placing another sim card she told us to give it 15-20 minutes for the phone to be on, we waited till the next day and it never worked.
My husband went at 11:00am next morning and the manager at the store did not want to help him she told him to come back when the other girl that had helped him came in, at this point I go to the store again and approach the girl who had helped us in the first place, I told her I'm back as you never connected my phone she looked at me and said yes I did I'm not sure what happened your going To have to call customer service, I replied why should I call if I payed you to do that. I asked her for a manager
The Manager at the store did not greet us more less apologized or nothing she came with an attitude and said your phone is not compatible to the internet so ik looked at her and told if it was not compatible why did you charge me in the first place I asked you if you could connect it and you said yes. I got upset and asked for my refund on he activation since the phone never got turned on she refused her word were (I don't know what to tell you I smacked cartons display she had at the front counter then I left the store
she sent me a text message to my phone who I have with T Mobil and stated do to the incident with Maricela Rios at the store she is not allowed back in the store a police report was made and that I had 24 hours to cancel my service or she would, another harassment text by boost Mobil representative t I called the customer service line and they apologized and did not want me to cancel my service but I did I filled a police report for harassment all im asking is for my refund I was also charged for the month on the 2nd and my line is off
Desired outcome: I would like my refund $55.00 for the month i did not use and the $35.00 activation fee i was charged for a phone not activated especially when the representative Melanie G. said she was going to cancel my service
