Straight to the point, worse car rental company!
I made my car rental reservation online with Hotwire. Upon getting there to pick up my rental I was approached by an employee with a clip board. She asked me my name and what kind of car I was picking up. Then she asked me to go to the counter with a girl behind a desk. I greeted her, she didn't even acknowledge me. I asked her if she needed my ID, with a rude attitude she replied "first and last name"
So, ok maybe she was having a bad night. Which doesn't make it ok for her to be rude. She pulled up my reservation and asked me what kind of coverage I wanted. Then she proceeded to mention the different coverages. I told her I was going to be using my own insurance, since my car was at the shop and I do have full coverage insurance. She then said "I need something in writing that states your coverage extends to a rental car" I told her it was not the first time I had rented a car and i have always been able to use my own insurance. This girl was so rude she would not even make eye contact. I told her I could show her my ID card, she then again replied "I need it on writing"
So I called my insurance which is Farmers, the office was already closed since it was almost 8pm. I kept on telling the girl behind the counter that I had nothing in writing that stated my insurance would also cover rental.
Then she kept on being extremely rude, not making eye contact at all. I told her my insurance office was closed she didn't seem to care. She kept on looking to her left playing with and picking at her scalp!
So I had to call my agent directly, I told him exactly what was going on and he immediately said she should know about insurance coverages. So then I told the girl behind the counter what my agent had just said and her response with the biggest attitude was "OH I should..!"
So then I told my agent if he could send something in writing, then he asked for me to pass the phone to her. I told her that my agent wanted to speak directly with her she said "I don't want to talk to him" so then my agent said... what rental place are you at? I told him NU he then said "I suggest you never go back to that place if you are being treated like that" i agreed with him and told him, that it was my first and last time renting with them!
My agent said to ask the girl behind the counter where he could email her a 90 page insurance agreement. Then her response was "not to me... he can send it to you"
So after making me go back and forth she asked me for my credit card. What was the whole point of all that and her rudeness? Was it the fact that I didn't want to buy up coverage? She handed me a paper for me to initial, again this girl was extremely rude, I can not reiterate how rude she was..! Before I left I asked her for her name, she quietly said her name. I asked her excuse me what is your name, then she said Kayce. Not even a thank you, have a good night... nothing!
All the other employees who were around didn't jump in to find out what was going on. Which only leds me to believe that's how they work. So much for work ethics.
Absolutely no customer service skills at all. Very poor management if they allow their employees to treat customers with such disrespect. I hope someone does take the time to address the importance of customer service. Kelsey should not be allowed to deal and interact with customers.

Rented a car was told needed insurance card when cc will take care of ins plus I had insurance on my car at home I have never needed an ins card before and have rented a car for past 18 years she charged me 20 a day told us to wait outside for car they were cleaning windows went in about two times to make sure they didnt forget us the car was outside the whole time waited half hour she is a [censored] (pardon the language) will not rent from you again ever!

NU Car Rentals - reservation not honored
We booked a rental through our credit card company to use our points. We recieved a confirmation email that the reservation had been made and paid for. When we got there. They claimed that it had not been paid for. We called our credit card company (Citi Bank) and they said that it had been paid for. The bank tried to call customer service while I stayed on hold. The bank could not get anyone to resolve the issue through customer service. I ended up having to pay again to rent a car. I want to know if they did get paid through citi bank and if so I want a refund. It also took nearly two hours to get thg h ett ought the process because of this. There should be some compensation for my time loss. The only think I can do is never rent from my car again. That was my first and definitely LAST time for me

TERRIBLE COMPANY IN BUCHAREST! they are scamming people and they charge you the deposit twice! AVOID! also aboid this guy he is the one in charge for this scamming!
