I ordered a range from the store on October 22 and it arrived in Nov 7 broken! The control panel on the range didn't work. The technician saw that it broken when he installed yet and said that I would get a replacement or get it fixed... Several weeks later the stove is not fixed nor have I received a replacement. I don't want them to fix a brand new stove, which I told them. I paid $1, 400 for a good quality product that never should've arrived broken. I've showed up to the store several times asking them to just give me a return and refund but the store managers tell me to call the customer service line and the customer service folks tell me to talk to the store. Both keep giving me the run around and refuse to acknowledge the mistakes they've made. I've attempted to speak to them so many times that now that they're saying it's outside of the 30-day return period?! I've been complaining to them for several weeks and have never dealt with such unprofessionalism. Who sells people broken products and think fixing something broken is an okay solution when I'm paying $1, 400 for a brand new product? I want a full refund because I don't want to deal with this company ever again.
Desired outcome: Refund
It's been weeks since I posted this complaint... PC Richards claims to have responded and "resolved" my complaint but still spoken to me about next steps or made any efforts to make things right as they claimed here. I have reported the store to my state's consumer protection agency.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
