Firestone Complete Auto Care - Service

I took my vehicle in on Friday, April 14th to get a regular check up on my vehicle to make sure it's ok to drive out of town. After learning that it cost too much to fix thr AC.. I decided not to travel out of town with it.

My car sat all afternoon & night Friday, & all day Saturday. As I got into my vehicle on Sunday, April 16th.. I noticed my car was sputtering, it acted as if it wanted to die... it has never done this before... as I drive to my Mother's.. just 15 mins away from my home.. the car stopped on me.. I started it back up & made it to her home. Once again.. my car drove just fine before I took it into Firestone on April 14th. After visiting my Mom.. as I traveled back home.. my car died again.. had to restart it & finally made it home.

The next day Monday.. I was the 1st person there at 8am at Firestone so they can know my car was doing this. The nice guy at the counter.. Waylon.. says the guy that would look at the car won't be in till the next day Tuesday & I can bring it back then.. thats fine I said.. my car luckily made it back home that Monday morning. That Tuesday morning my car wouldn't start at all.. Firestone definitely did something to my car because once again.. my car wasn't having any problems before I took it in..

I had to call AAA to get it towed. I dropped it off with Manager Matthew.. he said they will look at it.. if they don't find anything they did wrong.. then they will do a diagnostic check which would cost me $99! I explained to him my car was not having this issue before I bought it in to Firestone. I went home & waited.. till Matthew called me in the afternoon & said they HAD to do a diagnostic check & that I have a bad starter! Once again. No problem starting my car before my visit to Firestone. He told me my starter was old & that it would be $717 to fix with them! I told him I don't have that money.. I will come & get my car towed back to my home.

After I got a ride to Firestone on my lunch break... to pay the $99 fee & retrieve my car (since they dont accept payments on the phone).. I told Matthew that I will have this car towed & to leave it outside of the garage so it can be retrieved later. He then DROVE my car to the front parking lot! I Saud "I thought my starter was bad"? He said "Oh its intermittent"

My car drive home just fine! No issues! The next day.. I took it to O'Reilly to get a diagnostic check.. Juan at O'Reilly said "You're starter is FINE"

I KNOW I WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.. MY CAR IS STILL DRIVING & STARTING UP JUST FINE! I WOULD LIKE MY $ BACK!

PLEASE HELP IN THIS.. I COULDVE HAVE WASTED $717 ON TOP OF THE $99 O I ALREADY PAID..
