Hello guest services, my name is Joseph powell, I have planned a special three days for my wife for our anniversary. The first day was nothing exciting. I'm visually impaired, therefore i use a white cane to travel, I asked the front desk person to read the paper before I signed it because I cant see to read the receipt, i was just disappointed that i had to explain in detail to get the help I needed, still I didn't get the help. Then Upon arriving to set uo the room, we were trying to set the air conditioner 20 minutes later someone knocked on the door and said they came to repair the air conditioning system. We didn't call for anyone to repair the unit, therefore they knew the unit was not working properly. I paid for a service to set up and decorate the room with a Hawaiian theme with roses, candles dimmed lights and other romantic settings. When my wife arrived she was pleasantly surprised until she turned on the lights. She took notice to a long rip on the couch, she tried to turn the cushion on the other side but it showed nasty stains. Later she called room service, the person came up almost one hour later to replace the ripped and stained set of cushions. In the evening we went down for appitisers and wine the bartender was so rude that we just left, I addressed it to the front desk person and they just pretty much blew me off. My wife went back to room and noticed more dirt in the room and cleaned it herself. I thought that I was doing something so special with the room decorations and reservations at the Embassy Suites. It was just disappointment after another. I completed the online survey and their response was sorry give us another try. Not way with money they should offered me three free days on them, and another survey.
