This dollar tree just lost a customer. I am tired of being asked by the cashiers to donate to this, buy something for that, etc. I won't go into detail because it is none of anyone's business, but my husband and I have been, and still are, being put thru a financial and medical wringer with no end in sight. All of this has made me very bitter. You know the saying "when it rains, it pours"? Well it has been storming for a long time! I do not need a store/cashier pestering me to buy something I can't afford, don't need, or donate to a cause. Other people I have talked to feel the same way. I've been in other dollar tree stores lately and none of them have asked me to buy something or donate to some cause. If dollar tree wants to donate to this or that, let them do it, but leave the customers alone!

What is wrong with just saying "no" it is not that hard.
You realise that they do this in other stores as well? And you aren't obligated to give or explain why you can't. Just say no thank you, make your purchase and move on with your day.
And this is why I shop online 99% of the time! End of discussion!
