When you call your local Midas you expect transparency. Especially when there's a multi hour repair being done. When speaking to the desk associate he says I'm ordering the part for your car let's shoot for 12 noon. Now the day of being the responsible customer that I am I called to double check. I got the go ahead yes noon looks fine due to the order placed. Ok. 12 noon comes I show up. The wonderful world of Logistics happens and my part is late. Never mind taking off of work knowing how important our jobs are. The exact words told to me the part is not on time and it won't be here until 230 pm 300pm I said ok. I returned at 3pm then I was told I misunderstood and my car was going to be taken apart by 230 or 3pm to get ready for the part to show up. I look him in his eyes and said that is not what you told me. Even longer story short missed day of work no work has been done to my car and now I have to take off a 2nd day of work. Hopefully I can keep my job after this.
Desired outcome: The truth for starters. Not a cover up story about his lingo and me not catching his drift. Real money is on the line
