We purchased a new sofa in 2021 to replace the one we had purchased from Raymour & Flanigan in 2018. We loved the other sofa however the recliner portion went bad and Raymour & Flanigan claimed could not get the part to fix it. We had the warranty so they gave us credit toward the new sofa.
The new sofa was over course more than the one we had..
We thought we were purchasing quality merchandise considering the price for one sofa $1439.95. We picked Power sofa sku [protected] We were not allowed to get the warranty on the new one, they said it was part of the exchange deal? We ordered in May 2021 and it was delivered in July 2021 making the sofa less than 1 year old. The cushions are flattened and on my husband's side and the middle section makes a loud noise like cardboard if you sit on it? And it falls in toward the middle seat very oddly. My husband is not a big man and he works 65 hours a week, he might sit in that seat 2 hours a day at most, there is no reason for this sofa to be this bad in less than a year. When we have anyone come over they sit in our oversized chair not the sofa. Again why is a sofa less than a year old already worn out? The one they replaced was 3 years old and still fluffy and comfortable. This makes no sense.
Desired outcome: Credit toward a new sofa, maybe replacement cushions and someone to find out why it makes that noise when he sits down.
