Mavis Tires & Brakes

I stopped by Mavis to have my brakes looked at to see approximently how much pad i had left on front and rear. i was shone that i was almost metal to metal. iwas given an estement of around $860. I told Dean to go a head and order the parts and make an appotment. i arived to the appointment at 10AM on 6/15/23. My 2016 Ram 2500 was taken into auto bay. a couple of hrs. later i was called on my phone and Dean asked me to come talk to him. i was next door at carquest. when i arived i shone a box of what i was told my rusted delapedated e-brakes (parking brake). And was told that the e-brakes where not included in my eastament. witch i did not understand or agree with. Dean then told me that the e-brake cant be seen till the reg brake is removed, and tat he would get me an estament for the e-brake and get back with me. was also told to stop back by after 50 miles or so to check my lug nut tourque. i said i would come back in a couple of hrs. after i put 50+ miles on it. hrs. later i stoped in and parked in front of the first couple of bays. Two employees cam out and new why i was there. one had a tourque wrinch in hand.i was told it was set to 80 ft Lbs. i replyied you checking it at 80 is not going to gareentee that the min. tourque has been meet or that the max. has not been excedied. so what they did was one used a breaker bar and loosened one nut then the other tourqued it to 140 ft Lbs. nominal. they did the drivers front first. iwas not paying a lot of attition on that one then they moved to pass. front. i was still standing on drivers side. i counted the tourque wrench tourquing 6 times they moved to pass. rear and i walked to passengers side. i counted and watched them do only 6 nuts. i then asked if 6 is all they are going to do and the one with the tourque wrench (jouner tech.) became argumenitave. i dropeded it and thanked them knowing saying any thing else to them would do nothing for my truck. now here it is 11 days later and no one had any idea what i was talking about when i called before today. Dean came back to work today and it was oooo no one got with you.

Also there are numerous thins on the invoice that are not true.

I was told that tourque values come up on techs. system. That may be true but only if the correct info is put in to beginn with.
