We received our form 1098 for taxes and "one" number, a "1", was replaced with a "7". I called a rep and spent at least 30 mins getting this corrected. She confirmed all my info and a corrected 1098 would be sent. That was feb 12, 2012. I also sent a copy of my drivers license, copy of my ssn card and a w-9 form to their west palm beach address. After more than 2 weeks I called again. Talked to a rep in india, which he could not understand and sent me copies of my old 1098 which we received today, 3 mar, 2012. I will call again and I hope I get the response I want. Also my old finance company had my "correct" ssn on their form 1098 which we received from ocwen. Another thing was we received an additonal charge for a home warranty, systems md, which we did not request. I had to call ocwen and the warranty company to get it cancelled. The operator said we had "signed" a form which we did not sign or return. This company needs to be put out of business. Who are these "###-holes"?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
