Would give 0 stars if possible. Rented a cabin called American Heartland for nearly $700 and drove over 9 hours to get to the cabin. The hot tub was 60 degrees flashing an error code, the wifi didn't work, and the microwave smoked and burned up the following morning...they didn't bring a replacement microwave until our third day and didn't check the hot tub. The hot tub, which just needed a filter according to the error code, was never fixed during our stay. The wifi router was not in our cabin it was in a neighboring cabin. We had to play phone tag with cabins for you and the renters of that cabin to have them reset our wifi...twice...still didn't work. When they came out to check the wifi they did not check the hot tub. We were told comcast needed to come out to fix the wifi-obviously it wasn't fixed during our stay. The cabin is located in an area with no cell phone service, it was incredibly inconvenient not to have wifi. The cabin was dirty and dusty inside and out. Needs a deep cleaning and minor repairs. We complained to cabins for you and were offered just over $100 refund and a discount on a future stay. This was unacceptable since we paid almost 700 and do not plan on staying with this company again. Their contract that I signed clearly states "if ANY condition or problem arises prior to or during guest's stay, agent reserves the right to EITHER refund guest's payment, pro-rate, or move to a comparable cabin. After bringing this to their attention we were told "they didn't feel our issues were severe enough to be moved to another cabin and we still had other working amenities." Three non working amenities is terrible. If I did not want a working hot tub I would have stayed in a hotel room. The contract clearly states "refund of guest's payment." It does NOT say "refund only if we feel it is worthy." I attempted to recover the funds from my bank but did not use a credit card and the bank was not able to return my payment. I filed a complaint with the BBB and cabins for you still argued with EVERY WORD I said and still did not issue a refund. Despicable company. They also have more negative reviews than I can count on their FB page. Beware and rent somewhere else.
