On December 1st at approximately 5:30 p.m. on the Charlotte Pike Thornton's next to the Walmart the manager I was asking for a little help on gas not money not food nothing else I was almost out of gas they told me I had to leave because two homeless guys sit there and walk up on customers panhandling and bumming money for their food and for their drugs and for the alcohol and the manager sits there and allows them to do it on first shift and on second one the corporate policy states that no panhandling is be allowed on these premises nobody no homeless person unless they work for Thornton's company are not allowed to pick up or clean up the parking lots without being a because one it's a liability 2 they don't they don't work for thorntons they live in the woods in front of Walmart and you can call metro Nashville Police department about at Charlotte and on at Charlotte avenue and they will tell you everyone that lives back there are heroin or meth addicts and drunks and they panhandle they are aggressive and why is your managers and your staff at thorntons office allowing this to keep on going on because it's been going on for like 2 or 3 weeks every time I go to get gas there I was just there always there and allowed to be there this this needs to be taken care of and I would greatly appreciate it I have heard customers are getting gas and have to tell these homeless people man get away from me quit bugging and harassing me for money you know and but the manager still doesn't say nothing to him she allows it to go on review the security tapes and you'll see him standing out on the side and on the front of Thornton's where the manager can see him and doesn't say nothing to him that's my proof I would greatly appreciate this being taken care of and that manager being taken care of because obviously she can't do her job properly and by the rules and regulations of the thorntons corporation so maybe she doesn't need to be a manager and maybe some of them staff members do not need to be working there thank you and I will greatly appreciate something being done about this I will I always do go back to the Walmart and I always do visit Thornton's to get gas I was just a little short on money that time I do have a job I sell newspapers and all of metro knows me they know I don't do drugs I don't do alcohol and I work thank you for your time and thank you for your help and please take care of this because if I go back again and I see them there I will call the law and it will be posted on Facebook and everywhere else I've had your managers are letting this happen also your thorntons on stewarts ferry Pike are allowing homeless people to pick up and clean up the parking lots for beer and food and you can call metro Police department out of stewarts ferry Pike Hermitage and they will tell you they've gotten plenty of complaints about this about these people walking up and harassing customers and the manager stop the police from harassing the homeless well why are they stopping the police from doing their jobs
