We are buying a Gehan home in Aspen Meadows in Aubrey, Tx. We have had several delays with product and workmanship. We can't talk to the construction manager Michael, he is never available. Our salesperson Amy Ayon has been trying to get us to close on time, and is getting no help. We met with Michael once, and he basically told us we are luck to have our home in the state it's in. The workmanship is not good at all, with painters, drywall team. We have been pushed once already on our closing date. We went to our home yesterday April 17th 2021 and had to put up so much blue tape on our walls, cabinets, doors, molding, etc it was ridiculous. We have been told we will close on April 22nd now for a few weeks. I don't see this happening with all the work that still needs to be done. We are beyond frustrated at this point. We saw no tradesmen yesterday at our home the whole time we where there. There are runs from the paint everywhere, nicks on our cabinets, a few windows in master and one in living room has bad drywall issues. There is bad caulking all over the house, also no weatherstripping on the front or back doors. We have rescheduled our movers once already. We have to be out of our current apartment by April 29th, since it has been rented out already. We have had to put our lives on hold due to this issue. Michael doesn't work weekends and won't answer his phone or emails for any updates. I am sorry, but when a client tells you about their concerns you need to step up to the plate and get things done. Desired outcome: Get our home done ASAP, with no excuses.
